Thanks for joining my 2016 Virtual Vacation!
I enjoyed my stay in Colorado, and hope to visit again -- especially since I've only seen 2 of the 4 national parks in this state so far -- and only a small part of this beautiful state itself.


Rocky Mountain National Park has one of the greatest abundance of available hiking trails I've seen -- more than most other parks -- and with many trails under 10 miles (perfect for me, and many other 'day-hikers'). It would be easy to visit this park 2 or 3 more times and not repeat a single hike. This was also my first opportunity to hike at such high elevations (9000-12000 feet). If you can handle the high altitudes and enjoy hiking -- this is a great place to visit.
