
The view from the top ridge here is spectacular, and the highway below winds around the valley. Other hiking trails are seen in the distance (right side of photo). Maybe I'll hike those later in the trip. This is an amazing trail (assuming you don't mind heights or cliff edges).

The trail continues higher along the ridge, with posts and chains to provide something to grab. The trail is strictly "single-file" at many points (no passing), so it can slow down when hikers come in the other direction or someone pauses -- but everyone is in a happy mood, and there's plenty to look at when you have to wait.

Cairns (piles of rocks) left by other hikers show the way on sections of the trail -- although there aren't too many options as the trail follows the ridge along the top of the mountain.
