 Looking back over this trip -- I enjoyed some great hikes and stunning views in Zion, and there are still hikes left to do if I return some day. This is one of the smaller national parks; but one of the best in my opinion. It's packed with things to do -- and even more hiking is available at state parks nearby. This park is a wonderful mix of desert & mountains, punctuated with an abundance of trees and flowering plants and cacti anywhere the river passes near. It's one of my favorite parks to visit.
