Other volcanic peaks are visible in the distance looking north. This area has a lot of volcanic domes, and a sign here says this one has been dormant for about 3000 years or so. Below are the foundation stones from a building lost to time. Perhaps a large house with many rooms, occupied by people that didn't mind living under a volcano.
