Plants love the hot, humid environment here -- and some of the trees become monsters, growing to enormous size.
To help put this into scale, let's pan down a bit to the tree trunk...


I hope future generations will be able to enjoy the diversity of life here in the rainforest, and am happy that part of the money spent at the lodge goes back to preservation efforts here.
