It's 8am as we return upriver from parrot watching. Our guides constantly watch the shoreline, slowing the boat anytime there's an animal sighting. "Look, a sloth" he says, pointing (it's amazing how he sees this -- center of photo). We can't see it's face (or toes), but based on his colors, we think he's a 3-toed sloth (compared to yesterday's 2-toed sloth, which is nocturnal & more active at night -- although 'active' is maybe the wrong word).
