With views like this, it's no surprise that Bear lake is popular with visitors, and easy hikes around the lake are accessible to everyone. From here, more challenging hikes climb to Nymph Lake (pictured below), Dream Lake and Emerald Lake (at over 10,000 feet in elevation).

Lilly pads dot the surface of Nymph lake, and each lake along this hike has its own distinct look as the hike climbs higher into the mountains.
