 Looking down at the trail ahead, it's still a long hike back even to reach the tree-line (not visible here). Surprisingly, I met quite a few other hikers on this ultra-strenuous, but popular hike. Looking across the tundra, I see the trail and several of the others hikers ahead; helping to show the immense scale of this landscape.< See them? Click photo to expand >
