The next morning (Thr, Sep 6): Renting a car and driving the road that follows the coastline north towards Glymur, with scenic views along the way. I learn it's pronounced "glee-more" here, since the 'y' has more of an 'e' sound in Icelandic.


It's a nice day for a drive as the road passes over a small bridge. There are many streams and rivers here, possibly meltwater from glaciers higher up, or maybe from all the rain they have here.
