I notice a waterfall near the side of the road with very little information other than a sign that says "Fossárrétt". Several unmarked trails lead up into the hills, and I can clearly see the remains of an ancient building that might be 800 years old (or more). There is nothing to provide any additional information other than what's seen, but it's a nice place to stretch legs, enjoy the waterfall and even hike a little bit up one of the unmarked trails.

This was a nice stop for a quick visit -- but Glymur Falls is the intended destination, so time to hit the road.

Time for a quick 'arms-length self-portrait', and back into the car.
