Arriving at Glymur falls for a hike that goes directly to the best views. A local says this is the biggest waterfall in Iceland -- but I noticed at least 3 other waterfalls during the trip with the same claim. The 'biggest waterfall' in Iceland is something like the "best pizza" in New York. It's a bit hard to qualify. I think this may be the tallest, while others claim the widest, most volume of water, fastest moving, etc.

There's snow higher in the mountains ahead. The hike doesn't go that far up, but it's a bit chilly today (probably high 40's -- perfect for hiking).

This is a fun, well-maintained trail with interesting features and landscape. It starts with a drop into a small cave and out the other side.
