Driving through the small local towns, most people get around in Tuk Tuks -- a practical 3 wheel vehicle common here. These towns typically have a paved 'main' street with dirt roads for side streets. Locals sell roasted or fried guinea pigs on a stick on the street corners (a popular food here) -- and makeshift 'bars' called chicherias sell a traditional home brewed 'beer', often in the front room of someone's home. The houses selling the chicha beer are marked only by a broomstick with a red bag or balloon at the top (look down the side street, or click the picture for an enhanced view).
