  I hand my camera to Edwin and stand as close to the edge as comfortable (or maybe a bit closer) for this photo. The Inca never developed a written language (or the wheel), but their ability to shape the landscape was remarkable, and signs of their work are everywhere. Even at the highest peak behind me, you can see the remains of more buildings and terraces (click photo for help viewing).
