It's cooler at the mountain top (high 50's°), with views in all directions. We've just arrived, but are already being told our permit time is up and it's time to go (maybe we shouldn't have spent so much time looking at plants on the way up). The limits help protect and preserve this amazing place for future visitors -- so we don't mind; and there's still enough time for one last picture...
