It's Wednesday morning -- and our last day at Machu Picchu (actually just a half day; but enough time for a short hike to the Inca Bridge trail). This is another amazing piece of Inca architecture. Probably constructed 600-1000 years ago, the narrow trail is built directly on the mountainside.

The trail is just wide enough to pass other people on this popular destination, and if you're brave enough to look over the edge, it's a straight drop down. We marvel at what it must have taken to build this -- which originally went on for miles and miles connecting different towns together.

This was a short but fun hike, and a nice way to spend our last few hours at Machu Picchu. During our trip here, Edwin took great care of us and provided a wealth of knowledge and information. He would also regularly borrow our cameras to help get us into the photos. He takes our picture here as I take his.
